Vista Eye Care has been a staple in Thornton since 2014. When it came time to expand and upgrade their facility, River West Construction was brought in to handle the heavy site modifications, structural excavation for the expansion, and exterior property re-grading.
Working on an established site comes with unique challenges—like navigating existing underground utilities and working around an active commercial property—but our field crew ensured the site was prepped clean and built right.
What We Handled On-Site
Expansion Footers & Foundation Prep: Excavated footers, cleared around foundation pylons, and dug trenches to prepare for new structural concrete pours.
Interior Subgrade Grading: Precision-leveled and graded the soil inside the addition footprint to get the ground ready for slab work.
Site Demolition & Upgrades: Tore out old asphalt, removed existing concrete sidewalks, demoed legacy trash enclosures, and backfilled the area for fresh grading.
Utility Navigation & Drainage: Safely excavated around live underground electrical lines and managed heavy rain drainage to keep the site clean and on schedule.
